    Vietpadel Competitions

    Our competitions are part of the Vietnam Padel Asociation system. We follow the VPA calendar with regular club tournaments (VPA 150, VPA 100, VPA 50, VPA 30), city leagues, regional tournaments (VPA 500 & VPA 250) and national tournaments (VPA 1000), these tournaments are part of the VPA Tour wich run by season from October to September every year.

    Tournaments give points to players which results to a National VPA ranking for all participants, the end of the season finishes with a master which reunite the 8 top teams of the season in each category for a special tournament. The end of the master marks the end of the season with the final ranking.

    Competition Format

    VPA Tour compete with 4 diferent match format:

    Format 1 - Match in 1 set  of 6 games with no add scoring 6/6 tie break in 7 points with win by 2

    Format 2 - Match in 1 set of 9 games with no add scoring 6/6 tie break in 7 points with win by 2

    Format 3 - Match in 3 sets win 2 with add scoring (tie break at 6/6 win by 2 in the 2 first sets) and 3rd set super Tie Break in 10 points win by 2

    Format 4 - Match in 3 sets win 2 with add scoring, tie break at 6/6 in all sets win by 2, this format follow the WPT tour and FIP.

    All formats can be used for club tournaments (VPA 150 to VPA 30), format 3 & 4 will be used for regional tournaments and city leagues (VPA 500, VPA 250) and all VPA 1000 as well as the end of the year master will be using format 4. 

    These formats are approved by the Vietnam Padel Asociation inside the VPA Tour competition system.

    VPA Rating

    All our competitions are managed with the Vietnam Padel Rating (VPR) to allowed players to compete by level and give the seeding to players in each tournaments. We also have competitions by gender & age, for kids, adults and seniors.

    Vietpadel is allowed by the VPA to assess level and give rating to all players that are not rate yet by the VPA. Players will then receive an assess rate which will be adjusted after the 2 first tournaments played. Players can have a look at the chart below and self assess their level before joining a tournament or being give a proper one.
